On a happier note, one of my most beautiful, best friends called me yesterday. We've been playing phone tag for about a 3 weeks now and she just so happened to call in the midst of the above mentioned chaos of yesterday. It was a much needed cry/vent on both sides of the telephone, haha! Thanks be to Jesus! Lord, Your works do not go unnoticed. Oh, and I also got to talk to her 3 year old son, my adoptive nephew;) Zion. Together Z and I discussed the woes of potty training with baby sister Isa's loud objections in the background and we ended the phone conversation rejoicing over his pee in the tiolet! I love this family so much.
Well, my husband just got back from playing at the Ramp for the Women's Conference. So now it's football time at the Rhea house (no, not Hubbert house because we stay at my dad's house during conferences). It's about to get loud, football in the South is a serious issue. I'll probably leave and go get dinner for everyone soon.
My sister and I went shopping last night.
I picked u
some winter clothes, jewelry, & new tights,
and a new version of a journal called
"The Book of Us."
It's a journal you use to document your relationship and all the quirky, hard-to-remember stories the you never want to forget. It's adorable.
Even Scott thought it was "handy."
PS. I have dreads (:
I'm serious... well, not full dreads. I did it myself and their just dreaded up to my ears. My roots are still loose, but they look real. They're sick! Still deciding if i want to go all "social-media" with the pics. (that just means I haven't made up my mind on if I like them or not.) This weekend was a bit of R&R for me, so I chose to try 'em out.
I'm getting way better with this blog-mess situation. I'm becoming more consistent and I'm thinking of more things to write! Yay for this! Have a good day.
nice! i like the look of dreads :)
